Care Guide

  • Water only when the soil is completely bone dry, usually once every two weeks or less depending on temperature.

  • Ensure they sit in a location that receives ample direct or very bright indirect sunlight for most of the day.

  • Always use a highly porous, well-draining cactus mix and pots with large drainage holes.

Common Problems & Solutions

Why are my succulents stretching and growing tall rather than staying compact?

This stretching is called etiolation and happens when succulents do not receive enough direct sunlight. Move them to a sunnier spot.

Why are the leaves on my succulents turning clear and mushy?

Mushy, translucent leaves are a fatal sign of overwatering and rot. Immediately withhold water and remove the rotting parts.
